Lake Wallenpaupack
Lake Wallenpaupack was built in 1927 when the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company damned Wallenpaupack Creek for Hydroelectric power. The 5,700-acre (2,306 ha) lake features 52 mi (83.7 km) of shoreline and six recreation areas. |

Wallenpaupack Creek
Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, Wallenpaupack Creek and its tributaries feed Lake Wallenpaupack. In the 1970s the whole watershed was designated a High Quality Water Basin and is protected by the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Association.
