Located near Lake Wallenpaupack, on 115 acres (46 ha) of open and wooded terrain, the YMCA has this camp since 1994. Skycrest boasts a full-size swimming pool, a fishing and boating pond and accommodations for 110 campers. Children ages 7 to 16 are offered a variety of weekly programs. Family programs are also available.
Every summer, Camp Watonka welcomes 130 boys and 60 staff members to a science oriented camp program. The camp was founded in order to provided hands-on scientific education in a fun and interactive way. Its not all sciences though, there are many other activities offered like crafts, minibikes, archery, sports and boating.
