    ASA Packer Mansion Museum

    Built in 1861, the Packer Mansion was the home of philanthropist, railroad magnate, and founder of Lehigh University, Asa Packer and consists of three stories and 18 rooms. Willed to the Borough of Mauch Chunck, it remained a memorial to her father but was not open to the public until 1956. The Masion was designated a Nationl Historic Landmark in 1985. During the regular season, tours commence every half hour.

    The Pike County Historical Society

    Founded in 1930 as a non-profit community group, the Pike County Historical Society's mission is to preserve and maintain the historical artifacts of Pike County. Seasonal exhibits are presented and a collection of artworks are displayed.

    This one-room school near Beach Lake was built before 1872. It still stands as a testament of a simpler time and is open to the public during the summer and fall.

    Grey Towers National Historic Site

    Located in the outskirts of Milford, Grey Towers is the home of Gifford Pinchot, the first chief of the US Forest Service and twice Governor of Pennsylvania. House and garden tours are offered. Grey Towers feature conference facilities for natural resource groups, on-site programs including environmental education programs and chamber music concerts.

    Eckley Miners' Village

    At this historic mining village founded in 1854, visitors have the chance to browse houses, churches, schools, a hotel and a company store. Guided tours are available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

    Millbrook Village

    Millbrook Village is a re-creation of a turn-of-the-century village found in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area. Here the Millbrook Village Society showcases the way of life in a typical village during the 1850-1900 time period. During the summer weekends, volunteers demonstrate crafts and activities of a typical village, while the annual Millbrook Days are held during the fist weekend of October.

    Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm

    Visitors have the chance to tour the grounds where Pennsylvania Dutch families lived in the 18th and 19th centuries. Programs are available for schools, and a number of special events are held throughout the year.
