    The Columns Museum
    This Greek Revival building was constructed in the early 20th century as a summer estate for Dennis McLaughlin, a real estate dealer and Democratic politician. It now houses a museum run by the Pike County Historical Society. Visitors are welcome from 1 pm to 4 pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

    ASA Packer Mansion Museum

    Built in 1861, the Packer Mansion was the home of philanthropist, railroad magnate, and founder of Lehigh University, Asa Packer and consists of three stories and 18 rooms. Willed to the Borough of Mauch Chunck, it remained a memorial to her father but was not open to the public until 1956. The Masion was designated a Nationl Historic Landmark in 1985. During the regular season, tours commence every half hour.

    Old Jail Museum

    Built in 1871 and used until 1995, the jail was the site of the hanging of seven Molly Maguires and contains Cell 17 with its mysterious handprint on the wall. The museum also features reproduction gallows, a gift shop with Molly Maguire books and Guided tours daily, except on Wednesdays.

    Located in the Protection Engine Company No. 3 Station, the collection of the Fire Museum centers around the 1874 Silsby Steamer no. 483. This fully restored steamer still pumps several times each year. Other exhibits include early fire prints, photographs, helmets and speaking trumpets.
